Agent Red Studio is looking for a Lead Animator to help support our ambitious animation projects. As a lead animator, working with our partners you will help bring to life fun, entertaining and industry leading animated short films for our mature audience.

SALARY RANGE: $110k to $130k USD + Bonuses
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary goal of this role is to produce a target of 4 minutes of animation per month (this target varies depending on the complexity and number of characters).
Work closely with the Animation Leadership to produce high-quality animation and create compelling, story-driven and action-packed moments.
Submitting shots for review and follow through with notes and feedback.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
3 or more years of experience working as a keyframe animator.
Understanding of realistic body mechanics.
Understanding of the core principles of animation.
Good knowledge of cinematography.
Ability to take and give direction well.
Ability to make decisions to drive progress on a project.
Thorough knowledge of Maya.
Accomplished examples of keyframe animation, both character acting and full body.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of basic real-world physics and their application for animation.
